“A Bench in the Sun” receives North Shore Zone festival recognition!
Theatre West Van’s Spring production and entry into the North Shore Zone Festival was Ron Clark’s heart-warming comedy, “A Bench in the Sun”.
After a run at Kay Meek Studio Theatre in April, the play was reprised to a packed house May 6 at Deep Cove Stage theatre, as part of the week-long Theatre BC North Shore Zone Festival of Plays, May 3-8, 2010.
At the awards night, the production received the following awards:

Congratulations also to our fellow thespians at North Vancouver Community Players - their entry, "Three Days of Rain" will represent the North Shore Zone at Theatre BC's province-wide festival of plays "Mainstage" at Kamloops July 2-10, 2010.
